How to vote Science in Greenway:
Vivek is a first generation immigrant from India and has been in Australia for 14 years. He holds a mechanical manufacturing engineering diploma (TAFE equivalent) from India, and has IT certifications and an MBA from UTS. He has worked in manufacturing, IT, consulting and finance roles.
Vivek is passionate about the ways in which advances in science, technology and medicine are transforming human lives. He is the founding director of the FoxG1 foundation, a health promotion charity that is tirelessly working to find a cure for FoxG1. The youngest of Vivek's four children, Kush, was the first child in Sydney diagnosed with this profoundly debilitating condition. Instead of being defeated by this, Vivek is working to find a cure for FoxG1 and believes that we are in the middle of a genetic revolution where FoxG1 and many similar single-gene disorders have a real chance of a cure.
Vivek and his family live in Glenwood.
