The electoral changes have passed the senate thanks to a deal between the Greens and the Liberal Party, and a double dissolution election will be called in 8 weeks. This means the heat really is on to be ready for an intense campaign. We need to act now to be prepared. 

A double dissolution really is the best chance that we have to be elected on our own terms. This Thursday night we'll be having a meeting to discuss the changes to the senate, the upcoming election and our plans to make science funding, innovation, education and economic reform major policy discussions in the upcoming election.
