Fundraising success! Let’s get it across the line.
In just a week, the Science Party has raised $3,092 to nominate its candidates. This is a fantastic result to match the fantastic quality of our candidates. Thank you to all who have donated so far. Given a July 2nd election day, nominations could close as early as the 1st of June. That means we have just 37 days to reach the $20,000 needed to nominate all of our candidates.

Donate now by clicking here and help get the Science Party candidates nominated!

Meeting in Sydney
This Thursday is the Sydney monthly meeting. To help foster collaboration between like-minded groups, this will be a joint meeting between Biohackers, Effective Altruists and the Science Party.

The Science Party meeting will kick off from 6:30 PM sharp. We’ll be in a side room until 7:30 PM when we will open the room and a joint presentation will take place. This will be headed by Peter Simpson-Young, and will have short intros to Biohacking, Science Party and Effective Altruism. We’ll then break off again to further discuss our individual group’s upcoming events and plans.

With a double dissolution right on the horizon the Science Party is preparing to run in Victoria. We will be holding this meeting to assist with election/recruitment strategy as well as have some general discussion.

In particular we will be having a segment dedicated to Space Policy in Australia. So if you're interested in Australia's role in the global space industry (and what it could be) or if you would like to help out with the upcoming election come along!
